XELLENT SWISS VODKA SPONSORS REGIONAL AMATEUR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES 

(January 15, 2007, Hartford, CT,)  XELLENT SWISS VODKA is pleased to announce its sponsorship of an amateur golf series of events across the United States for 2007.  There will be ten (10) events during the Spring and Summer of 2007 culminating with a National Championship event, for the top 30% in 5 Flights, to allow all skill levels to compete, in the fall of 2007. 

“This new program will take advantage of exellence in amateur golf.  There are over 25 million amateur golfers in the United States.  Our goal is to provide the Champions of local events the opportunity to compete in regional championships, against other Champions”, says Ken Rich, the “XELLENT GOLF GUY”.  This event series will conclude with a 3-day National Championship to determine the “Champions of Champions”.  This will be a true “Xellent Test of Golf”. 

The XELLENT amateur championship series will take place at golf courses across the United States including: Grand Bear GC in Mississippi, The Woodlands Course in Houston, Whirlwind GC in Chandler, Arizona, Lake of Isles GC at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and more.

The quality of any vodka depends on three crucial factors:

·        Grains – pure, top-‘bread’ quality Swiss Rye

·        Distillation – the product is carefully distilled, first in a traditional, small copper pot still.  In the second and third phase, the spirit is purified in a column still with 45 plates that refines the product to more than 96% pure.

·        Water – the third element is water. After resting for several months, the vodka is diluted to proof level with water that comes from the Titlis glacier at the heart of central Switzerland.
